11/28/2023 0 Comments Mydictionary app![]() If you prefer, you can continue to use an in-app only Favorites list while not logged into a user account.Word Lists are *not* your Favorites list.You can add new words* to your lists, in the apps, while your device is online and connected to a wifi or cell/mobile network.Tap "Study List" to see the various flashcard and quiz options: Flashcards, Multiple-Choice Quiz, Spelling Quiz, or the Mixed Quiz (mix of multiple choice & spelling questions in one quiz). Once four words have been added to the list, you'll see the "Study List" button shown on your Word List. Once you've created a Word List, add at least four words to the list to use the Flashcard and Quiz features. Then fill out the title, category & tap "Create List." Then choose the list from the menu and tap "Done. add the word to a new list by tapping the "+ New List" button at the top of the list.add the word to an existing Word List, by simply tapping on the list(s) you want to add the word to.If the word is from 's core dictionary*, this action will pull up your existing list of Word Lists where, you can:.Then tap the Star icon (⭐️ ) on the Dictionary entry.Be sure you are logged into a user account in the app.If you are on a Dictionary entry and want to add that word to a new list: Later, you can always add words* right from the Dictionary entry, via the same Star Icon (⭐️ ) you previously used to add words to your Favorites list.You can add new words to the list right on the Word List page by tapping "+ Add Words" Once your list is created, you can start looking up words in the Dictionary and add them to your Word List.You may need to adjust how you have the list of Word Lists sorted, or scroll down to see the new list Depending on how you have the page sorted it may show A-Z, Z-A, or by Date Added.The list will be created and listed on your Word List screen.Then tap "Create List." Don't worry, you can always change this information later, if you like. You'll give the list a name, description (optional), category, and list color.On the Word List screen, tap "+ New List".Once logged in, tap on "Word Lists" on the homescreen, or tap on the star icon (⭐️ ) to be taken to your Word List screen.Open the app & ensure you are logged into a user account (login via the "Login" button on the homescreen, or the "sign up/sign in" option in the app's menu).You can create new Word Lists right on the Word List page, or while you are browsing the Dictionary and found a new word you want to save! You'll need to login to an account, or create one, to see the Word List button and access these features. If you don't see this "Word List" button and instead see this placement as a "Login" button, that means you are not currently logged into a account in your app. When you are logged in to a account in the app, you'll see a "Word List" button (highlighted here in orange) right on the homescreen for you to easily access your Word Lists: You'll then find your Favorites listed as your first Word List, and will be called "Mobile Favorites" (you can rename it whatever you like!) Navigating to the Word List screen: The app will confirm the move for you via a screen like this: The first time you log into a user account in the app, the app will automatically move your existing Favorites list (if any) over to be a part of the new Word List experience. Login to an existing account, or sign up to create a new account. You can login to an existing user account, or create a new one! Simply tap on the "login" button on the app's homescreen, or open the app's menu and tap on the "sign in/sign up" button. They do not relate to any app purchases app purchases take place solely within the app or play store accounts you used to purchase them from, in the app or play stores. Note: these user accounts relate to your website and Word Lists only. ![]() Then, sign into a user account (under the "sign up" option of the app's menu), or create a new account. To use Word Lists and the associated features of Flashcards and Quizzes, please update your iOS or Android app to version 10.0.0 or later (not available in our separate iPad apps).
